Agates & Geodes Series

A beautiful collection of geologically inspire rock formations of Agates and Geodes.  Made using the technique of Free Motion Embroidery on a domestic sewing machine. Created with Thread and Yarn, sewn to water soluble fabric.  When completed, the fabric is dissolved, leaving behind only the fiber structure.  Using a special mounting process, the artwork appears to float above the backing, casting shadows that move with the light source... bringing each piece to life.

All artwork in this Award Winning series measures 8 inches by 8 inches and is framed in a white 9 inch by 9 inch shadowbox, ready to hang.
