Neurographic & Hidden Pictures
Based in a type of 'Meditative' art form, Neurographic art was something developed by psychologists to help their patients relax their minds. Honestly, this is something I did as a child of the '60s... a type of doodling.
These pieces were created on a domestic sewing machine using a technique called Free Motion Embroidery. These have been sewn onto chiffon fabric and the vibrant colors were painted by hand.
As the collection grew, I started having fun creating 'hidden pictures'. I would draw an object, then turn it into a neurographic image.
All pieces are framed in a black shadowbox and ready to hang. Sizes will be listed on each item.
