Mandala Series: Purple Tulips

The Award Winning Mandala Series.  All pieces were embroidered by hand on a domestic sewing machine.  Sewed onto water soluble fabric, the finished piece is then placed in water to dissolve the fabric away and leave only the thread structure behind.  After drying, the art piece is mounted using a special float technique that adds shadow and depth.  The shadows change with the light source, bring the piece to life.

Each Mandala is 8 inches by 8 inches and framed in a White 9 inch by 9 inch Shadowbox frame, ready to hang.
